• Electrical Safety: Connecting the system to a power bar creates a Medical Electrical System, which may reduce safety (see IEC 60601-1). Only use the provided accessories, and avoid connecting any unauthorized equipment.
• No Modifications: Do not attempt to open or modify the system in any way. Any alterations are prohibited.
• External Use Only: The system is for external use on the skin only. Do not use on compromised skin, mucous membranes, or eyes.
• Eye Safety: Avoid using the system on or near the eyes. Looking directly at the LED or its bright reflections may cause irritation or damage.
• Protect Your Eyes: If you're sensitive to light, use dark glasses, especially when treating upper body areas.
• Keep Away from Heat: Keep the system away from radiators, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Avoid excessive dust or lint exposure to prevent damage.
• Dry Environment Only: Use the system in a dry environment and keep it away from moisture. It is not waterproof—never rinse it under water or use it while bathing.
• Audible Signal: The system will emit an audible signal when powered on. Ensure you hear the signal before operating.
• Ventilation: Never cover the LED array during treatment. It dissipates heat through its top surface.
• Cable Care: Inspect cables regularly for damage. Do not use the system if any cables are frayed. Avoid excessive pressure or twisting on the LED array, and do not wrap cables tightly.
• Strangulation Hazard: Be cautious with long cords and straps. Do not wrap them around your neck.
• No Vehicle Use: Never use the system while operating a vehicle or machinery. It may distract the driver if used as a passenger.
• Supervision Required: Do not leave the system unattended while operating. Keep it out of reach of pets and children. Do not let young children use the system unsupervised.

The number of treatments needed varies based on the injury and the individual’s response. A recent clinical report on over 1,000 BIOFLEX patients found that, on average, just under 10 treatments were needed to resolve their condition. While some patients may see results with a single session, most require between 3 and 25 treatments.

Are there any contraindications?

Individuals with lupus or other conditions that may be triggered by light, a history of keloids, recent excessive sun exposure or artificial tanning in the treatment area, those currently using photosensitive medications or herbs, and pregnant individuals should avoid treatment.
